Andrea Cabot: Thank you, Anna Christine. It’s always nice to hear. My sons get on to me about buying this big place for just me, but I have plans which this home will make it possible.

ACB: The catering business you’ve started?

AC: *Chuckling. Yes, I wanted to be able to cook out of my home and eventually have events on-site. This place gives me the opportunity.

ACB: *Looks out the large kitchen windows to the big yard outside. There is an old barn just past a renovated carriage house. It has a lot of land, too, not just the big two-story house.

A social media presence is important for any author, but especially a self-published one.

I try to post several times a week on social media sites including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. I’ve mentioned before writing is not my full-time job, so staying organized with my social media posts is important to this part-time author.

I have broken down my Social Media Spreadsheet in a previous post Planning and Organizing: Part I. I decided what subject I’m posting about and how it ties into my writing/author/brand. In the second post Photoshop TIps for Images: Part III of Social Media Management, I went into detail about how I create the images for my novels. I shared some Photoshop tricks as well as where I get my stock photos.

When I was researching automatic posting sites, I looked into multiple options, read several other bloggers’ reviews about different options. I needed a site that would let me set up large batches of posts.

Going Cave to Cave instead of Faith to Faith

Cave to CaveHave you ever felt like David, going from Cave to Cave instead of Faith to Faith? I felt this vividly for the last few weeks. In a low point of despair and lost hope, I realized, I’ve been going cave to cave for years, not just weeks.

It seems I’m always back at the low point, looking at my circumstances, wondering when God is going to fulfill his promises.

When is God going to take me out of this cave and put me in the King’s palace so to speak?

NOT YET.

I’m still waiting.
