About AC Boulier

I’m a Georgia girl at heart, a lifelong storyteller, and someone who believes the best stories leave us with a little more hope than when we started.

I write Contemporary Christian Romance, Cozy Mysteries, and children’s books inspired by the remarkable work of service dogs. Whether I tell a faith-filled story of second chances, follow an unlikely detective duo as they solve cozy mysteries, or introduce a courageous pup who changes lives one paw at a time, I weave grace, hope, and heart into every story.

I also founded Access Unleashed, a nonprofit that makes invisible disabilities visible through advocacy, education, and service dogs. Living with Celiac disease and other hidden disabilities fuels both my mission and my storytelling, inspiring me to write stories that encourage compassion, understanding, and hope.

When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me enjoying a cup of hot chocolate (even in the summer), exploring charming small towns, researching quirky bits of history, or eagerly counting down the days until my gluten detection service dog, Barley, comes home.

Fun Facts About Me

Chapter 1: Where It All Began

Hometown
Cartersville, Georgia. I grew up in an old Civil War-era farmhouse in the Cassville community… the one with the flashing red light. If you’re from around here, you probably know exactly where I mean.

Family
One younger sister… by exactly sixteen months to the day.

Name If I’d Been a Boy
Christopher Robin Boulier. I’m not making that up.

Chapter 2: The Making of a Writer

What I Wanted to Be When I Grew Up
It changed almost daily. An archaeologist, because I wanted to uncover lost civilizations. A race car driver, because speed sounded fun. And a writer… the one dream that never really went away.

Hobbies
Writing, reading, and learning just about anything. I’m a student at heart, and if something sparks my curiosity, chances are I’ll disappear down a rabbit trail researching.

Random Fact
I can’t whistle, blow my nose, or spit watermelon seeds. Somehow, I’ve managed to survive anyway.

Chapter 3: Favorite Things

Favorite Food
Chinese until I had to go gluten-free because of Celiac disease. These days, my favorite changes, but right now it’s crispy GF fried okra.

Favorite Season
Fall. Give me colorful leaves, crisp mornings, and I’m happy.

Favorite Weather
A rainy afternoon, especially if it’s hitting a tin roof.

Favorite Color
Polka dots. 😉 Just kidding. Dove gray. It’s beautiful on its own, but it also makes the surrounding colors shine.

Chapter 4: The Little Details

Pets
I’m eagerly waiting for Barley, my gluten-detection service dog, currently in training. I’m praying she’ll be home in October 2026. I regularly babysit my sister’s Frenchie, Hugo, whom we rescued in 2025.

Things I Love
The smell of fall, the sound of rain on a tin roof, and lingering over a good meal with family and friends.

Coffee or Hot Tea
Hot chocolate. Even in July.
