Remember, God does not do ANYTHING without a purpose. Whether we know it or not, everything created has a reason for being on this planet.
The Good, The Yucky, The Bad, and The Beautiful…
We just have to look for that purpose.
When I started planning to publish my novels, I looked at the MULTIPLE suggestions of what you needed to do to be successful as an author:
OH, could I go on and on…
Some steps were harder than others, but one of the easiest was my logo. I knew I wanted a butterfly and I knew I wanted Rachel Bullard, a talented artist, and friend to design it. I go into more detail about the logo in this post.
Tomorrow is NATIONAL LEARN ABOUT BUTTERFLIES DAY
I felt it was very fitting since a butterfly is my logo.
To me, butterflies are quiet testimonies of God. Little reminders of God’s grace and beauty.
Isn’t it ironic, butterflies start out as squirmy, sometimes considered ugly caterpillars and turn into such COLORFUL, VIBRANT creatures in God’s kingdom?
To tell the truth, most days I feel more like the caterpillar than a butterfly, but that’s the testimony of the entire caterpillar to butterfly process. It evolves, changes, grows and turns from not so great to beautiful, flying creature of God.
Butterflies are wonderful metaphors for so many concepts… Faith, Grace, Beauty, Change, and More!
There are amazing quotes and truths about butterflies…
A wonderful reminder God hasn’t given up on me!
I love this because it reminds me I won’t always be stuck, lost, or losing because God’s still working on me.
If you ever feel lost, alone, not where you need to be, REMEMBER the butterfly… I’m sure it had it’s moments of doubt too, but given time, God makes all things new and…
THAT’S A BEAUTIFUL PROMISE.
Until next time, may God’s grace surround you,
